Časopis Památky archeologické byl založen v roce 1854. Zveřejňuje zejména rozsáhlejší původní vědecké práce nadregionálního významu z oboru archeologie a příbuzných vědních oborů a kritické i informativní recenze publikací s obdobným tematickým zaměřením.
The journal Památky archeologické was founded in 1854. It publishes mainly extensive original scientific works of supraregional significance in the field of archeology and related scientific disciplines, as well as critical and informative reviews of publications with a similar thematic focus.
Die Zeitschrift Památky archeologické wurde 1854 gegründet. Sie veröffentlicht überwiegend umfangreiche wissenschaftliche Originalwerke von überregionaler Bedeutung auf dem Gebiet der Archäologie und verwandter wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen sowie kritische und informative Rezensionen zu Publikationen mit ähnlicher thematischer Ausrichtung.
