The monograph presents complete field documentation and Neolithic finds obtained during excavations conducted at the site of Vochov in the years 1977–1980 when the first Stroke-ornamented Ware Culture circular enclosure (the so-called roundel) was systematically unearthed there. Finds dating to the Linear Pottery Culture that were discovered at the site of the circle are also included in this book. The book also comprises information regarding a second circular enclosure at Vochov that was discovered and archaeologically sampled in the year 2004. The monograph bears some importance for understanding the relations between Czech and Bavarian Neolithic settlement regions.
