This publication oriented on professional and general public as well presents the results of long-term rescue archaeological field work covering the city of Kolín ring road line that was conducted by the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague, v.v.i. in the years 2008–2010. The first – text, part of the book overviews results of the field work and preliminary results of the initial phase of evaluation of both movable and immovable artefacts and ecofacts. The second part consists of a catalogue of artefacts displayed at the exhibition that was opened in September 2012 in the Regional Museum in Kolín. Both parts are enriched with abundant photographic documentation.
