Prague – the city of archaeology brings information about a broad spectrum of topics studied by Prague archaeology. The book is divided into several chapters focusing on the problems of historic preservation, the issues of cultural-historical development in the territory of Prague and the methodology of research. Special attention is paid to the interdisciplinary research that has a long-term tradition in Prague and is tied to the beginnings of the systematic study of Prague archaeological sources and the heritage care in the interwar period.
